Ghosted Reviews

The first 30 minutes is very much a romantic hallmark /lifetime movie, but this film picks up as an action comedy that turns this below average film to at least a decent watch.

Some people are way too hard on this film. Come on! It was entertaining (at times predictable, yes, but what film in this genre isn’t?), fun, fast paced, beautiful/exotic locations, and cute repartee. Colorful characters and comedic cameos. Great diversion from the unleashed cruelty and insanity that currently darkens our days.

It's a ok movie but not something I will like to rewatch though...

Compares with all time bad movies like hot tub time machine. In fact makes hot time machine look like Dostoevsky. leaden acting, thin plot. and hair that doesn't move - even beards. All locations are not credible from Pakistan souks to revolving resturants If you want a spy video, series or movie watch Slow Horses This is bloody useless The high point was Sean Locke as a taxi driver

Though it has a familiar premise, Ghosted is a fun flick for the weekend that can give you a couple hearty chuckles.

This movie doesn't have much to offer, the script is terrible, the acting is low-level and the action sequences are unsalvageable.

A fun addition to the spy thriller genre. Although more of a popcorn thriller than anything more, it's still an entertaining story with enough comedy and action to keep you interested.

It would normally be the male hero rescuing the femme fatale. But for a wookee movie, it was somewhat entertaining.

I loved it. Its a great old school comedy. You have to watch it to catch all the gags. Not to mention all the cameos. They had me cracking up. Like it so much I think I'll watch it again tonight.

This is fun. Definitely my cup of tea. (Knight and Day, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) Love both Chris Evans and Ana De Amas

I loved this movie. Cute, nostalgic, smart, cunning, funny. The critics got it wrong.

My wife and I enjoyed the movie. Sure it is over the top, but if you can enjoy The Avengers, you can certainly enjoy Ghosted. The chemistry between Ana de Armas and Chris Evans is also tangible.

This is not meant to be a deep or revolutionary movie. It is entertaining, and got some good laugh out loud moments from me. Worth a watch.

Ana De Armas makes this movie Great!! She is one of the most believable female “Action” Bad-Asses in the business!!

I didn't even know what genre it is in the beginning of the film. I couldn't last 10 minutes into it. The relationship between the 2 main casts were really forced. How they carried themselves in conversations and how they first meet in the film made me cringe myself out of existence. And then I read some of the reviews up here and found out that it was also an action movie. Too bad, I never had a chance to see it because the film made me quit after just 10 minutes. Bad movie, but good cast. What a shame!

“Ghosted” had all the elements to be a fun romantic adventure—a stellar cast, including Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, and a team with impressive past projects. But despite my excitement, this movie missed the mark entirely. The plot is painfully predictable, filled with clichés and glaring plot holes that make the story feel flat. Evans is charming as ever, but it’s tough to buy him as someone who’s awkward with women or sports. Worse, he and de Armas lack any real romantic chemistry, which is fatal for a romantic comedy. The action sequences are well-executed, and the cinematography is polished, but the story drags far too long for what it delivers. Cameos bring brief excitement, but overall, the film is neither funny nor heartwarming enough to work. “Ghosted” is a disappointing mess of missed opportunities and unfulfilled potential.
