Late Night Reviews
Horribly boring and unfunny.
Loved Emma THomson...good one
I loved the evolution of Emma and Mindy's relationship. Well done!
Emma Thompson was excellent. Great performance.
Great storyline and lots of laughs.
Even Emma Thompson's dependable star quality (and John Lithgow's quite lovely performance in a small role) could not lift this movie out of the "enjoyable enough if you want to pass some time" category. There was a lot of unrealized potential here with the plot that never really materialized.
Good message and a fun movie. Cleverly put together
Fun...light...but fluff.
The most disappointing ending for a movie. Was like really this is how it ended. A good movie until the end
only a few funny parts. slow, very predictable.
Emma Thompson and Mandy Kaling were wonderful and I liked the female empowerment.
It was inspirational. It told a story about growth and change.
I thought that it was very well done, and great acting!
Very enjoyable movie. The whole aging female comedian is a fresh idea amidst the commonly male dominated industry. Well done!
Well written. Good portrayal of a falling star and a rising star
I thought the actors were great. The story was very well done. I really like this movie.
Super funny! Mindy Kaling is fantastic as the earnest, a bit naive and lovable Molly, while Emma Thompson does a phenomenal job portraying the complexity of a character like Katherine. A great watch!
Predictable. A few laughs, but a lot of silence from the audience when the movie makers expected a laugh. I'd wait for it to come on Netflix or to an airplane.
Emma Thompson is amazing.
Great story line about changing dynamics in a workplace. Performance were excellent
