Emma Thompson was excellent. Great performance.

Great storyline and lots of laughs.

Even Emma Thompson's dependable star quality (and John Lithgow's quite lovely performance in a small role) could not lift this movie out of the "enjoyable enough if you want to pass some time" category. There was a lot of unrealized potential here with the plot that never really materialized.

Super funny! Mindy Kaling is fantastic as the earnest, a bit naive and lovable Molly, while Emma Thompson does a phenomenal job portraying the complexity of a character like Katherine. A great watch!

Predictable. A few laughs, but a lot of silence from the audience when the movie makers expected a laugh. I'd wait for it to come on Netflix or to an airplane.
