Way better than the summary let on! Pretty funny, got some good laughs in my theater. Plus it was very cute, with adorable interactions between friends and between family members. Wasn't that the cutest grandma ever? Loved her.

Great movie! Loved it

This was a fun movie! I am a huge fan of Bowen Yang which might actually hurt this movie as the script does not allow him to be as funny as I had hoped. There are definitely funny parts, but I think it was much more heartwarming than humorous. The ending got a little odd, but the resolution to the main story anyways was fulfilling and nice. Pretty good movie!

Fun poignant movie with a lot of humor and heart. Grandma definitely stole the show.

Movie was ok, but I found it overly predictable. The mom and grandma made the movie fun to watch for me. Parents and grandparents only want the best for their children, even if the children don’t know it.

This movie was very touching. I was engaged and invested in the story and characters the entire time. It's everything I want in a movie. I laughed. I cried. I related to the complexity of family relationships, both born into and chosen. I highly recommend this movie.

This was a fun movie with a unique perspective. It wasn't quite as funny as they were selling it to be but it did have some good laughs. I honestly found the character Min the most funny and his relationship with his grandmother and the evolution had the most gravitas. All the actors played their parts well.

It exposes people to same sex marriage, same sex family, and learning about marriages from different cultures. It was very educational and uplifting. It was both humorous and serious. It brought me back to cultural family issues that I was exposed to as a kid. It was amazing!!!

You have to admire Hollywood’s willingness to burn money making movies no one asked for, no one want’s, and no one’s willing to pay to see. Those involved would have been much wiser sending this movie straight to streaming rather than to have it shown in empty theatres for two weeks before it’s mercifully pulled.

Sweet, funny and touching. Wonderful performances all around and especially Youn Yu-Jung as the wise grandmother. Her subtle performance steals every scene she’s in. There’s not a false moment in the film, except for an unnecessary sub-plot that has an all-too obvious (and equally unnecessary) conclusion.

I completely loved this light, fun, funny film. Te characters were developed beautifully. And the tenderness and challenges with relationships are honest on screen.

This is quite funny even though plot is somewhat simple and predictable. It’s good to laugh watching funny movies but just not many of them these days so this is a gem.
