The Wedding Banquet Reviews
Great movie! Loved it
The grandmother made the movie
This was a fun movie with a unique perspective. It wasn't quite as funny as they were selling it to be but it did have some good laughs. I honestly found the character Min the most funny and his relationship with his grandmother and the evolution had the most gravitas. All the actors played their parts well.
It exposes people to same sex marriage, same sex family, and learning about marriages from different cultures. It was very educational and uplifting. It was both humorous and serious. It brought me back to cultural family issues that I was exposed to as a kid. It was amazing!!!
My family enjoyed it enough but thought it was just ok.
I loved the grandmother when she was having a heart- to -heart with her grandson. I Loved the cast! I just loved this movie!
Expected to be fu over. Seemed very slow
I loved the friendship aspect of the film. It was simple and lovely
Great movie, entertaining plot. Worth seeing with friends.
Sweet film about old world values meeting new ones. I liked it very much. Some comedy but predominantly a drama.
The Wedding Banquet is funny, poignant, and relatable. The grandmother of the groom and the mother of the bride steal the show.
Sweet but too complex
Solid Movie. Good plot beats. Recommend.
Entertaining, suspenseful, made me laugh, almost made me cry!
I saw the 1993 original, and remakes are so often disappointing.. This one was not disappointing in any way. Excellent performances! Comedy, but also a vein of drama. My friend and I loved it.
Enjoyable, predictable. A nice film with a happy ending.
Very sweet and heart felt story!
Great scrip, warm and wonderful story, dont miss it. Every cast member was outstanding.
A group of imperfect people experience love family and self discovery.
Funny and heartwarming movie.
